Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: April 2026
Our Commitment
Loretta’s Last Call has been Boston’s home for Southern hospitality since 2014, right on Lansdowne Street. That welcome extends to our website. We are committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology, and we actively work to improve the accessibility and usability of our site as it evolves.
Conformance Status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, with Level AAA contrast targeted across body copy. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, and is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Our most recent automated audit (April 2026) returned zero violations against the axe-core WCAG 2.2 rule set across all published pages.
Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
This website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers and screen readers, including:
- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge (latest versions)
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
The website is also designed to be fully navigable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or touch input.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies working with the particular combination of web browser and assistive technologies installed on your computer:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
Measures Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of this site:
- Text contrast meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AAA (7:1) across body copy and AA (4.5:1) across all interface elements
- All images include descriptive alternative text
- Interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) meet the 24×24 pixel minimum target size
- Forms include visible labels and clear error messaging
- Page structure uses semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a logical heading hierarchy
- A “Skip to main content” link appears as the first focusable element on every page
- Links that open in a new tab announce that fact to screen reader users
- The site is fully navigable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Third-party reservation and ticketing widgets — Table reservations and event ticketing are sometimes handled by external providers whose widgets we do not directly control. If you experience difficulty, please call us at (617) 421-9595 and we will gladly assist.
- Embedded Google Maps — Map content on our Contact page is provided by Google. Our full address and phone number are also listed in plain text as an alternative.
- PDF menus and sales kits — Some downloadable PDFs may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. If you would like a menu or sales kit read aloud or sent in an alternative format, please contact us.
- Third-party social embeds — Content embedded from Instagram or Facebook is subject to those platforms’ own accessibility. A text-based alternative is available for each featured item on request.
