LORETTA'S ARTIST OF WEEK 10/26/15
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Erin has surrounded herself with music from an early age. Erin began songwriting at age 12 on the piano, and she recorded her first single “Someone Like You” in 2010, during which she met bassist and Grammy-award winning engineer Nelson Braxton. In 2011, Erin recorded her first EP—produced and engineered by Braxton--“Bookends."
Erin taught herself to play the guitar when she was 17 to accompany her voice. Erin would best categorize her music as Acoustic Pop with heavy Folk, Rock, and Indie features. Erin is double-majoring in Songwriting and Music Business at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She is currently working on an album “Green Eyes.”
