LORETTA'S ARTIST OF WEEK 6/13/16

LINDSAY ELLYN

In 2010, singer/songwriter Lindsay Ellyn released her first single, “Gone”, kickstarting her career in songwriting. The same year, Lindsay’s original song, “Two Lovers”, won a national contest to be featured in the 2012 film The Right to Love: An American Family. After gigging around New York and garnering a local following, Lindsay began recording her debut project and in August 2012 released the Shores EP independently.

Her latest EP, Out of Road, was named EP of the year in 2015 by Queens of Country. Produced by Dean Miller, the project features famed musicians including Chad Cromwell, Dan Dugmore, Steve Nathan and others. After 12 years in NYC, she now resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
